Previously, he served in executive leadership roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Juniper Networks in Silicon Valley and held progressive leadership roles over 15 years with the internationally top-ranked Center for Creative Leadership. With a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Chris’ thought leadership is published in leading outlets like HBR, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and MIT Sloan Management Review, and in authoring three books, including the best-seller, Boundary Spanning Leadership (McGraw-Hill). He joined Blue Waters Integrative Consulting as co-founder, uniting his broad-ranging experiences in service to progressive leaders and organizations, everywhere.

As a practitioner, I work collaboratively to drive business strategy through talent strategy, blending sound science with leading edge practice across the full spectrum of leadership, learning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, talent acquisition, belonging & diversity and employee life solutions.
As a leadership consultant, I work closely with CEO’s and executive teams on their critical priorities and facilitate innovative leadership development experiences globally. My work has engaged CEO’s of disruptive innovation companies in Silicon Valley... generals and ambassadors in the Middle East... to the founders of the world’s largest philanthropy and the many people who are influenced by their actions.
